The Veins Inside My Eye Are Are Red And Imflamed? And Its Itchy.?

Are You know decision of this problem? i noticed one little spot like saturday morning in one eye. i sort of just forgot about it. monday morning it was mad itchy and all red and inflamed and i went to school anyways. monday night i put zyrtec eyedrops in for allergies cause my dad said its just allergies (even tho ive always had allergies and the INSIDE of my eye never got red before. so i knew it wasnt allergies but when i tried to tell him that he got mad at me for arguing with him.) now this morning it was worse than last night. i went to school. my friend said it was disguisting and to go to the nurse. i got really embarressed and went to the nurse. she said it looks like some kind of conjunctivitis and it was too bad to let me stay in school and sent me home. (i also had a virus 2 weeks ago, and i caught it back again thiursday, and just got rid of it sunday). Now idk what to do.. i can't go to the doctor my mom lost her job and i have no health care insurance. she keeps bugging me to clean my room that it could be allergies and to ask dad for different eye drops. (as if another kinds gonna work.) if its allergies than why are the little veins red? why dont i have a runny nose or any other symptoms? why is it getting worse? im pissed i wanna go to the doctors. like "oh instead of getting my job back lets just wait for something terrible to happen to my daughter so she can suffer! yipee!" >:( what do you think it could be? its in both eyes btw. and the little pink thing in the corner of your eye by your nose is all red and itchy aswell. I forget what its called lol i should know this though i learned the parts of the eyeball in like middleschool.

Ok, what I can say about this "the little pink thing in the corner of your eye" nasal canthus. "itch" is the classic ocular allergy symptom, and this would be the appropriate time (spring). it could be "conjunctivitis", although thats pretty much what any nurse/primary care doc is gonna say given the appearance of red eyes. plus the word "conjunctivitis" encompasses about a dozen different diagnoses: is it viral conjunctivitis? bacterial conjunctivitis? ALLERGIC conjunctivitis? papillary conjunctivitis? follicular conjunctivitis? i mean i dont want to dispute the nurse, but "conjunctivitis" doesnt mean much. not very specific. viral conjunctivitis is *usually* very watery & causes blurry vision...but it not generally "itchy" bacterial conjunctivitis is *usually* very goopy/sticky with white or green dischange. gross but not generally "itchy" ITCHY much more accurately describes allergic conjunctivitis, assuming you're not a contact lens wearer (if you wear contacts, you really need to go to the doc). so if you're feeling very ITCHY...that sure fits with allergies. try using the zyrtec eyedrops (i say up to 4x/day)...use some COLD compresses (not hot) a few times a day & try not to rub your eyes at all. artificial tears (like systane) help too...as much as you want. flushes out allergens in the tear film. you may end up at the doc's anyway...& this still could be viral or bacterial conjunctivitis. but like i said "itchy" is generally associated with ocular allergy. good luck!
